Start your 6-day Marrakech Desert Trip by driving from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains and over the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Visit the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and walk through its old pathways. Continue until you get to the Dades Valley. Stay overnight in a classic riad or hotel.
After breakfast, you will take a drive through the Todra Gorge, known for its tall rocks. When you arrive in Merzouga, you’ll ride a camel over the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset and spend the night in a typical desert camp. You can eat and listen to Berber music while you sleep overnight.
Wake up early to watch the dunes glow in the morning. After breakfast, you can spend the day discovering the Merzouga area. You can visit nearby towns, fossil sites, and scenic desert areas. Return to the camp and spend another night in the desert under the stars.
Travel through the breathtaking Draa Valley after departing Merzouga. Eliminate the conventional market situated in Rissani. Continue your journey to Ouarzazate, a city renowned for its historic kasbahs and film locations. Spend the night at a luxurious hotel.
After breakfast, visit the Atlas Film Studios and Taourirt Kasbah. On your way back to Marrakech, enjoy the stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. When you arrive in Marrakech in the evening, go to your hotel to check in.
