Take a drive from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, going over the Tizi n’Tichka pass to begin your Marrakech Desert Trip. Explore the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which is on the UNESCO list, and its ancient alleyways. Keep going until you reach the Dades Valley. Spend the night in a traditional riad or hotel there.
After breakfast, travel through the Todra Gorge, known for its towering cliffs. Continue to Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset and spend the night in a traditional desert camp, enjoying dinner and Berber music under the stars.
Get up early to see the dunes light up with the sunrise. After breakfast, you will ride donkeys back to Merzouga and start your Marrakech Desert Trip back to Marrakech. Drive through the beautiful Draa Valley and stop in Ouarzazate. By evening, you’ll be in Marrakech, concluding your Marrakech Desert Trip.
