Your 6 days trip from Casablanca begins with your arrival in Casablanca. After breakfast, embark on a drive to Marrakech. Upon arrival, check into your hotel or riad and spend the rest of the day exploring the vibrant city. Visit the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in Marrakech, and the bustling Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where you can experience the lively atmosphere of street performers, food stalls, and local vendors.
Start your journey with a drive from Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, passing the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Visit the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and explore its historic alleys. Continue to the Dades Valley, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional riad or guesthouse.
After breakfast, travel through the Todra Gorge, known for its towering cliffs. Continue to Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset and spend the night in a traditional desert camp, enjoying dinner and Berber music under the stars.
Start your day with the mesmerizing sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, return to Merzouga by camel, where your adventure continues. Explore the fascinating region, beginning with an off-road visit to an ancient kohl mine, followed by a visit to a nomadic family in their traditional tent. Learn about their way of life while sipping Berber tea and enjoying their warm hospitality.
Next, head to the vibrant village of Khamlia to experience the soulful Gnawa music and immerse yourself in its rich cultural heritage. Enjoy dinner and a cozy night at your hotel, reflecting on the day’s unique and unforgettable experiences.
Depart from Merzouga and travel through the scenic Ziz Valley. Visit the town of Rissani and explore its traditional market. Continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, and then travel through the picturesque Ziz Valley, taking in the stunning landscapes. Arrive in Boulaajoul, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
Leave Boulaajoul and travel through the picturesque Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called “Morocco’s Switzerland,” and visit the cedar forests of Azrou, where you can spot playful Barbary macaques. Continue to Fes, where you’ll settle in for the night.
