Itinerary:
The Best Fes Morocco Trip

Day 1: Fes to Merzouga

Your 3 days desert trip from Fes to Merzouga starts when you leave Fes. Stop in Ifrane, which is often called “Morocco’s Switzerland,” as you travel through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. You can see friendly Barbary macaques in the cedar woods of Azrou. Keep going through the beautiful Ziz Valley and enjoy the beautiful scenery. When you get to Merzouga, you’ll start your camel ride across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sun go down and spend the night in a traditional camp in the desert. Overnight, you can eat and listen to Berber music while you sleep.

Day 2: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

We will go back to the hotel to shower and have breakfast. After that, we will drive to Tinghir, going through the towns of Rissani and Erfoud. We will have lunch at the stunning Todra gorges, which is a beautiful place with palm trees and the remains of old Kasbahs.

Next, we will go to Boumalen Dades, where you can see the special scenery and rock forms of the Dades canyons. Many people say these canyons are among the most interesting roads in Morocco. We will check into a nearby hotel where we will stay overnight. First, we will enjoy a tasty dinner with live music.

Day 3: Dades Gorge – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

On the last day of our trip, we’ll have breakfast at the hotel before heading to Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco. On our way, we’ll see the large Skoura palm groves, and when we get to Ouarzazate, we’ll first visit the famous Taourirt Kasbah.

Next, we will visit the famous Atlas shooting studios before heading to the nearby Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. We’ll have lunch in a UNESCO world heritage site and then head to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains, going along the Tizin Tichka mountain pass. Our services will end as we drop off at Marrakech.
