After breakfast, travel through the Todra Gorge, known for its towering cliffs. Continue to Erfoud and then to Merzouga, where you’ll embark on a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes. Watch the sunset and spend the night in a traditional desert camp, enjoying dinner and Berber music under the stars.
The stunning dawn over the Sahara Desert captures the beauty of your 10-day Morocco journey from Marrakech. Return by camel to Merzouga after breakfast to begin your journey. Explore the interesting countryside by off-roading to an old kohl mine and seeing a nomadic family in their tent.
Berber tea and friendly hospitality will teach you about their lifestyle. Next, visit Khamlia to hear sweet Gnawa music and enjoy its unique culture. Reflect on the day’s unusual and memorable events over supper and a pleasant night at your hotel.
Depart from Merzouga and travel through the scenic Ziz Valley. Visit the town of Rissani and explore its traditional market. Continue to Midelt, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
Depart from Midelt and travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” before arriving in Fes in the evening. Check into your hotel and relax.
See the intriguing city of Fes with a native guide. Starting with the Royal Palace, meander over the Mellah and explore the historic Medina, a World Heritage site. Travel from Fes to the picturesque blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Explore the charming medina with its blue-washed buildings and enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch. Spend the night in Chefchaouen.
Depart from Chefchaouen and travel to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. Visit the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue to Casablanca and visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque. Spend the night in Casablanca.
