Day 1: Marrakech to Boumalne Dades via atlas mountains
Following breakfast, our 8-day trip from Marrakech to Casablanca will pick you up from the riad or hotel where you spent the night. From there, we will begin our tour by traveling across Tizi Ntichka, also known as Atlas mountain, which is known for its breathtaking views and landscapes. Following your visit to the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, we will have lunch at the restaurant located inside the kasbah. We will then continue our journey to Ouarzazate by means of the studios located within that city. You are free to make a proposal about whether or not you like to visit those studios. After that, we will visit the rose city and then go to Boumalne Dades, where you will spend the night.
Day 2 : Boumalen Dades – Toudra Gorges – Merzouga
Following breakfast, we will begin the second day of our eight-day journey, which will take us from Marrakech to the Merzouga desert via a number of smaller towns. Along the way, we will stop for a break and have lunch at a restaurant that is frequented by a large number of visitors. After lunch, we will continue our journey through Erfoud city, which is the final town before arriving at Merzouga desert. Since we will arrive at noon, the camels will be waiting for you there to take you to the sand dunes. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to take some stunning photographs of the sunset. After that, you will proceed to the camp, where you will spend the night listening to Berber music while the sky is filled with stars.
Day 3 : Full day exploring Sahara Desert
When you are in the midst of the desert, it is imperative that you take the time to get up early in the morning so that you may take in the breathtaking sunrise. Time to have breakfast on your own. Following that, you ride camels back to Merzouga, where the driver is waiting for you. Merzouga is the destination that we will be exploring during the day. A wide variety of breathtaking locations may be found in this region, including sand dunes, a wild lake, mines, fossils places, and fantastic oasis. Which locations are perfect for many different kinds of outdoor activities?
Our expedition begins in Merzouga, where we drive off-road to a mine that is said to have been used for eyeliner for centuries. Following that, we pay a visit to the nomads, who are staying in their hand-woven tent. Drinking a cup of Berber tea will teach you about their way of life. You will be able to take pleasure in the Gnaoua music and dance performances when we arrive in the Khamlia village, which is our next stop. The people that live there are said to have originated from sub-Saharan nations such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Having some free time to have lunch at a restaurant. The next thing we do is go for a walk through a grove of palm palms.
Day 4 – Sahara desert to Fes via Middle Atlas
In the morning, after breakfast and the sunrise, we have to leave the desert and travel through Erfoud to Errachidia, where there is a panoramic view. From there, we will see the forest of the Ziz valley, take some pictures, and then continue on to Midelt, which is famous for its apples. Along the way, we will stop for lunch. After Midelt, we will see some villages and small cities, as well as the way to Azrou forest, where monkeys exist in the wild. We will have the opportunity to observe the monkeys for a short period of time. After that, we will continue on our journey to Ifran city, which is the second cleanest city in Morocco. After that, we will leave it to Fes city.
Day 5 : Full Day Exploring Fes
Following breakfast, we will come and get you from your lodging in Fes so that you may experience the city of Fes. In addition to being the cultural and religious heart of Morocco, the city is also regarded to be one of the imperial cities. For the first part of the day, we go to the gate of the Royal Palace. Then there is the Medina, which is a well-preserved medieval city that has been designated as a World Heritage Site by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. The entrance to the oldest Medina is known as Bab Boujloud, also known as the Blue gate. You will be accompanied by a local guide as you enter the Medina. The Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, the Tanneries, and lastly the Quaraouin mosque and university, which is the oldest university in the world, are all places that should be seen together. After that, we go from Medina in order to go to the Jewish neighborhood known as “the Mellah.” Finally, we make our way to a historic fortress, where we are able to take in breathtaking views over the Medina and the city of Fes. In such case, go back to your riad.
Day 6 : Fes to Chefchaouen via RIF Mountains
Immediately after breakfast, we will embark on a journey to Meknes, the capital of the Ismaili people and one of the imperial cities. Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum are some of the places that we see throughout our travel itinerary. No obligation to have lunch. Our next destination is the ancient Roman remains of Volubilis, which are located thirty kilometers distant from Meknes. The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has designated it as a World Heritage Site, which means that it has been meticulously conserved. In addition to the antique pillars and archways, it is adorned with a multitude of stunning mosaics that are dispersed around the area. Following our exploration of the remains, we make our way to Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains by traveling via Ouazzane en route to the north. It is often referred to as the Blue city. The city is well-known for the blue paint that is used on its building facades and alleys. You will spend the night at a hotel.
Day 7 : Exploring Chefchaouen and Drive to Casablanca
After we have finished our breakfast, we will have the opportunity to explore the bright and turquoise alleyways of Chefchaouen, with the goal of capturing the distinctive soul of the city via photography. Following this, our path will take us to Casablanca, with a quick stop in Rabat, which is the capital of the country. Here, we will take a break to have a meal that is infused with the tastes of the area. The next stop on our journey is Casablanca, which is often considered to be the prettiest city in the nation. Our staff will assist you in checking into a hotel that is located close to the beach upon your arrival. You are free to enjoy the evening at your own pace, maybe by taking a walk along the lively Ain Diab Corniche at night. Day 8 : Visit Hassan II mosque and departure time
A leisurely breakfast on the 8th day lets you reflect on the week’s events. Final exploration is possible depending on airline scheduling. Our agenda includes the stunning Hassan II Mosque, Africa’s biggest mosque and a Moroccan masterpiece. An Islamic masterpiece, its 210-meter minaret dominates Casablanca’s skyline. This Atlantic Oceanfront architectural gem gives a peaceful retreat and a chance to see its exquisite patterns and enormous, elaborate interiors. We next explore Habous’ historic neighborhood, which mixes Moroccan and French colonial architecture.
